Privacy Policy
What we collect, why we collect it, and what we do not do with it.
Draft. This policy is being reviewed before launch. If anything here is unclear, please contact us.
What we collect
When you buy from us we collect your name, email address, delivery address, and what you ordered. If you contact us we keep your message and our reply. If you join our newsletter or a waitlist we keep your email address and a record of when and how you consented.
We never see or store your card number. Payments are handled entirely by Stripe on their own pages. We receive only the card brand and last four digits, which we use to identify a payment.
Why we collect it
- To take payment, pack your order and get it delivered
- To send order confirmations, dispatch notices and tracking
- To answer your questions and resolve problems with an order
- To send you news and offers, but only if you asked us to
- To meet our tax and record-keeping obligations
What we do not do
We do not sell, rent or swap your personal information. We do not share our mailing list with other businesses. We do not run advertising or analytics trackers that identify you.
Access, correction and complaints
You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it where we are not required to keep it. Email hello@lingosproutkids.com and we will respond within a reasonable time.
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, tell us first and we will try to put it right. If you are still unhappy you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.
Marketing email
We only send marketing email to people who have asked for it and confirmed their address. Every one of those emails has a working unsubscribe link that does not require you to sign in or give us anything else, and we action unsubscribes promptly. Order confirmations and delivery notices are not marketing and are sent for every order.
Changes
If we change this policy we will update this page. Material changes will be noted here rather than made quietly.
