Terms & Conditions

1. Who you are buying from

These books are sold by Lingo Sprout Kids (ABN pending). You can reach us at hello@lingosproutkids.com.

2. When your order becomes a contract

Placing an order is an offer to buy. We accept that offer when we dispatch your books, not when you pay. If we cannot fulfil an order — because an item is out of stock, or because a price was displayed incorrectly — we will tell you and refund you in full.

3. Prices and currency

All prices are in Australian dollars (A$). The total you pay, including delivery, is shown before you enter any payment details.

4. Payment

Payments are processed by Stripe. We never receive or store your card details. Your bank may apply an additional verification step; this is normal and is required by your card issuer, not by us.

5. Delivery

We post within 1–3 business days. Delivery times are Australia Post estimates, not guarantees, and transit and customs delays are outside our control. See Shipping & Returns.

6. Risk and title

Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery. Title passes when we have received payment in full.

7. International orders

International orders may attract import duties, taxes and carrier handling fees on arrival, payable by you. These are not included in the price you pay us. Some destinations are not currently serviceable; where that is the case you will be told before payment.

8. Returns and refunds

9. Your rights under the Australian Consumer Law

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure. Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law.

10. Limitation of liability

Subject always to clause 9, and to the extent permitted by law, our liability in connection with the goods is limited to replacing them or refunding what you paid.

11. Intellectual property

The books, illustrations, text, brand and website content are our intellectual property or that of our licensors, and may not be reproduced without permission.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of the Australian state or territory in which we are based.
